Welcome to Storrie Labels... artwork
If you require digital artwork to be produced for your labels, our design studio will be happy to prepare it for you. If you already possess finished artwork we are able to adapt it for print purposes from a wide variety of sources such as Quark XPress, Macromedia Freehand, Corel Draw etc. Though label making may seem like simplicity, in fact print processes often require the careful spreading of colours underneath one another to avoid unsightly white gaps. This technique of 'gripping or 'trapping' colours is more easily tackled in Adobe Illustrator than other programs and we prefer it for that reason. If supplying artwork, please don't forget to include the fonts.
At the moment we do not charge for setting simple new artwork or easy adaptations of designs supplied; however, after the initial setting, authors' amendments would be billed by time, as would more complicated settings.
New printing-plates and cutting tools are charged at a cost that would be stated at the enquiry stage in a quotation based on your requirements.
